About Me
This is a look into my life that led me to become a graphic designer and illustrator. I am Dominique do Pinheiro, from South Africa born in Potchefstroom, raised in Rustenburg, and currently reside in Pretoria. I started my artist career with the traditional arts like pencil, charcoal, and oil paint, I then started studying graphic design and graduated in 2023. My love for art extends to all art forms, starting with my love of performance art to crafts like crochet and knitting. Now, my growing love for all things traditional and digital illustration, I also include nature to create a fantasy setting within my art.
My love of Dungeons and Dragons has fueled my passion for all things magical and I wanted to bring magic and inspiration to my work. With my art, I want to inspire others to create and help make their world a little bit more magical. Graduated from the IIE’s Vega Pretoria with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and winner of The One Club Bootcamp 2023.

If you don’t like the world, change it. Fantasy is better than reality… says who? Find your sense of adventure, escape to this world and be limitless. Inspire to create, to feel, to find meaning and to be better. Inspire to be a part of life. Find your passion and share it. Listen and learn, be a sponge. Treasure every moment and have a child-like wonder. Don’t have wings? Make them. Be selfless, graceful, amazing, and most importantly be you.
